The APHN leverages the rich health systems implementation experience and proven track record of its network members to drive impactful health outcomes. A key example is its predecessor, Project HOPE Namibia (PHN), which has been engaged in health systems support and public health programming for over 2 decades in Namibia and beyond. Project HOPE Namibia expanded its mission and reached to lead programmatic portfolio that exceeds USD $100 million. In addition, APHN’s global partner, Project HOPE People to People Health Foundation (PH), brings over six decades of invaluable, global health systems and humanitarian support experience. With over 1,000 employees in more than 25 countries across five continents, PH works together with local health workers and health systems to provide urgent relief and transformative solutions that drive lasting impact. This depth of experience strengthens APHNs capacity to address complex health challenges and deliver sustainable solutions. The APHN network includes diverse partners and entities such as Project HOPE (PH)- Zambia, PH- Nigeria, and others, provide significant health systems support in different countries in Africa. In addition, APHN has leverage to partner with PH-US as well as other PH-US branch offices in Africa including PH-Ethiopia, PH-Ghana, PH-Egypt and others at global levels. It is APHN’s strong interest to diversify and expand its network and partnership to encompass academia, research institutions and other regional institutions in Africa.
